Yo, I'm Noel

25 | he/him | traditional/digital artist

I'm a hobbyist artist and professional shitposter. I draw stuff and make chainmail.
And I love Beyblade, Inazuma 11, and psychology so if you spend any extended amount of time around me you will learn about all three of those things.

Sometimes I draw/post bloody stuff!
I am a horror fan!

Blacklist #blood, #gore, and #body horror if you don't want to see that!

I don't do art requests very often, and my commissions are only open to a select few people.I use GIMP and/or Krita for digital art. [GIMP for pixel art and Krita for standard digital art.] I use Sony Vegas Pro 12 for video editing. [It sucks, don't buy this software.]My working pace is unpredictable because my health is unpredictable. Sometimes something that would normally take me a day will take me a week, if not longer. If I am working for you and I am delayed due to being unwell, I will communicate this to you.

I make...

  • Digital art, both the standard kind and pixel art.

  • Traditional art, sometimes I draw with ink and graphite.

  • Chainmail, mainly bracelets and necklaces. The rings I use are either aluminum [sometimes anodized] or stainless steel. A piece may include both aluminum and steel rings.

  • Kandi, mainly bracelets [both singles and cuffs, including elaborate 3D cuffs].

  • Plushies, but it's rare though. I need a lot of physical space to cut fabric and I usually don't have that space.

I do not make...

  • Anything not listed above. That is the extent of my current artistic skillset. That being said, it's worth mentioning that I cannot [or do not choose to] use those skills to make:

  • Animations

  • 3D models

  • Clothing. This includes very large and/or elaborate pieces of chainmail armor; I don't make full chainmail shirts, pants, coifs, etc., for example.

  • Fursuits

X Don't repost my art, please! X

I will report you for art theft.
Honestly, I'd probably let you use my art if you'd just ask me first, though. It's reposting without permission that I'm not okay with.
Exceptions: If I made you some gift art for your birthday or for Christmas or just for the hell of it or something, or if you've commissioned or otherwise bought the art from me, do whatever you want to with it! It's yours! Please still credit me and/or keep my signature legible, though.

Commissions:

Credit me for the art!
Even though you paid for it, please credit me and/or don't remove or obscure my signature.
While I am working on your commission, you're welcome to request progress updates at any time.After you've okayed a sketch, please don't ask me to go back and change it drastically once I've moved onto lineart. Likewise, please don't ask me to make dramatic changes to lineart once you've okayed it and I've moved on to colouring/rendering.Refunds:
If you request a refund after I have already begun working on your commission, I will only offer you a partial refund, proportionate to the amount of work I have already done. For example, if you commissioned a fully-rendered, fullbody piece and I have only completed it up to the lineart, I will not refund the cost of a lineart-only piece of that type. Let's say the price of that fully-rendered fullbody you commissioned was $90, and the price of a lineart-only fullbody piece would have been $40 -- in that case, you would be refunded $50.
When you are refunded, I will send you the PNG[s] and/or the source file[s] of your unfinished commission.
I reserve the right to cancel and refund commissions at any point, for whatever reason I find it necessary.
If I am the one who chooses to stop working on your commission, I will offer to refund you for it fully.

Adoptables/sold characters:

Credit me for the design!
Even if you redesign the character, please credit me as the artist of the original design.
You are free to redesign the character, you may change as much about them as you feel like changing. You can draw them as a completely different species, change their gender, change their colour palette, strip them butt naked in a Walmart parking lot, idc.Reselling/gifting a bought character is allowed. However, please don't purchase a character from me just to immediately resell them for more than what you paid for them.If you want to purchase a character, but you aren't able to until your next paycheck comes in or something, you may request a hold. In most cases, I will be willing to hold the character for you for at least a few days.

Tattoos:

If you want to get a piece of my art inked into your skin forever, I'm generally fine with that, with some exceptions.
Please ask me first.
Whether I'm cool with it or not heavily depends on what specific piece of art we're talking about.
Of course, if you commissioned the piece, you're automatically free to do whatever you want with it.I don't charge a fee for getting my art tattooed. The only guy you gotta pay is the guy with the needle.

"What happens if I break these rules?"
Not much. I just won't sell shit to you anymore.

If you don't know who you're speaking to, all of us respond to "Noel," it's like the collective default name/nickname because it's what we went by before we knew we had DID, so all of us got used to being called that.The identifiers are just eyecatchers we tag posts with to make it easier to identify at a glance who made the post [if the alter speaking/reblogging/etc. feels like specifying who they are].

Mascot:

Toxicsonas:

{Species owned by Phisnom}

Seedlings:

{Species owned by TinyPacky/Azazel}

{ he/it | ageless/mature | 7'4'' }

Kludde is my primary OC, though it serves more as a mascot than a fursona. I don't actually consider it a depiction of myself, it's more like a placeholder/puppet/mask that can be used to represent me.Kludde is a blue decomposite with cyan fire, who preferentially eats coal and is thus heavily saturated with carbon, making him appear nearly entirely matte black. He forges metal as a hobby.In spite of having human intelligence, he typically intentionally comes across as animalistic to deceive people. It is a wretched prankster, who you will only realize has duped you once you hear it laughing at you.

{ he/him | 20+ y/o | 5'1'' }

Alice is my primary toxicsona, who I consider to be a representation of myself.He is gross and greasy and drippy because he is too lazy to hold himself together better, he owns a bass guitar that is is questionably proficient at actually playing, he makes chainmail, and he stinks like reefer smoke. If you get the pun in his name you've got great taste in music.His jacket is real fabric, half-soaked with slime. It becomes more see-through the more saturated it is, like a wet t-shirt.He only has one eye. Only had one eye as a human, too. We don't talk about the Bud Light incident.The tongue in the mouth on his belly is very long and prehensile. He can and will grab things with it. This is exactly as gross and sticky as it sounds.

{ he/him | 20+ y/o | 6'3'' }

Argus is my secondary toxicsona. A specific alter of mine considers him a representation of himself.

{ he/him | 20+ y/o | 5'3'' }

Luci was intended to be a representation of myself, but I ended up not particularly identifying with him. So, not a sona.

  • I have Dissociative Identity Disorder [formerly known as Multiple Personality Disorder]. I'm not actually one guy, I'm a bunch of different guys in one meat suit. We refer to ourselves collectively by "I" instead of "we" sometimes for simplicity.

  • I generally don't mind people asking me questions about dissociative disorders, as long as they aren't rude and/or invasive. I recommend this site for general information on DID/OSDD, it is very good at explaining things simply and clearly while still being accurate.

  • I am queer. Very. I will say slurs because I use them as my own labels.

  • I cuss. A lot. 50% of my vocabulary is just Family Reunion by Blink-182.

  • I'm chronically ill. Bad health episodes can really wipe me out, don't be surprised if I disappear for awhile with no warning. I'm probably not dead. Probably.

  • I am from Florida. I am a Florida Man. I'm very sorry.

  • I like: horror, gore/body horror, psychology, psychological horror, rock/metal music, cool animals [bugs, sea slugs, and snakes my beloveds], knives, needles, monsters, origami, puzzles, and procrastinating.

  • I either talk Extremely A Lot or not at all. There is no in-between and there is no predicting what amount of words you are going to get out of me, I don't know either. Unless you've piqued one of my special interests. In that case it's Extremely A Lot.

  • I can code pretty well in HTML and CSS, but I still don't know much about Javascript. Or any other programming language.

  • I'm a contact juggler. Not great at it, but I can do a few tricks.

  • The "Kleure" in my username is pronounced "kleewr-uh" lol

  • I block incredibly liberally. If you give off the impression that I would not enjoy interacting with you for any reason, I will probably block you. It is not necessarily personal, I have very limited social energy and try to curate my online experience to be relatively calm and quiet. You are free to block me back, and I encourage you to if seeing my content is unpleasant to you. Making alt accounts and/or sending your friends to beg me to unblock you will most likely just make me block them as well, don't do that unless there is some REALLY good reason for it.
